When there is an earthquake, a flood, or an armed attack, the heritage may be lost forever. </narrative> </description> <participating-org ref="XM-DAC-7" type="10" role="1"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Netherlands - Ministry of Foreign Affairs</narrative> </participating-org> <participating-org ref="NL-KVK-41159889" type="21" role="4"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Prince Claus Fund</narrative> </participating-org> <participating-org ref="NL-KVK-41159889" type="21" role="2"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Prince Claus Fund</narrative> </participating-org> <activity-status code="4"/> <activity-date type="2" iso-date="2020-01-01"> <narrative>Fiscal year 2020</narrative> </activity-date> <activity-date type="4" iso-date="2020-12-31"> <narrative>Fiscal year 2020</narrative> </activity-date> <contact-info type="1"> <organisation> <narrative>For all enquiries please contact Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team</narrative> </organisation> <telephone>0203449160</telephone> <email>monitoring@princeclausfund.nl</email> </contact-info> <recipient-country code="CL" percentage="21"/> <recipient-country code="MM" percentage="27"/> <recipient-country code="TL" percentage="17"/> <recipient-country code="IN" percentage="20"/> <recipient-country code="LB" percentage="15"/> <recipient-region code="88" percentage="0" vocabulary="1"/> <sector code="16066" vocabulary="1"/> <tag code="16" vocabulary="2"/> <policy-marker vocabulary="1" code="1" significance="1"/> <default-flow-type code="10"/> <default-finance-type code="110"/> <default-aid-type code="B01" vocabulary="1"/> <default-tied-status code="5"/> <budget type="1" status="2"> <period-start iso-date="2020-01-01"/> <period-end iso-date="2020-12-31"/> <value value-date="2020-12-31">72289</value> </budget> <planned-disbursement type="1"> <period-start iso-date="2020-01-01"/> <period-end iso-date="2020-12-31"/> <value value-date="2020-12-31">72289</value> </planned-disbursement> <related-activity ref="NL-KVK-41159889-CER.2020" type="1"/> <conditions attached="1"> <condition type="2"> <narrative>Progress and final reports required for payment of final tranches </narrative> </condition> </conditions> <result type="1" aggregation-status="1"> <title> <narrative>Projects supported</narrative> </title> <indicator measure="1" ascending="1"> <title> <narrative>Projects supported</narrative> </title> <baseline year="2020" value="0"/> <period> <period-start iso-date="2020-01-01"/> <period-end iso-date="2020-12-31"/> <actual value="5"/> </period> </indicator> </result> </iati-activity><iati-activity last-updated-datetime="2021-04-26T13:22:17+00:00" xml:lang="en" default-currency="EUR" humanitarian="0" hierarchy="1" linked-data-uri=""> <iati-identifier>NL-KVK-41159889-NG.2020</iati-identifier> <reporting-org type="21" ref="NL-KVK-41159889" secondary-reporter="0"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Prince Claus Fund</narrative> </reporting-org> <title> <narrative>Open Call: Next Generation 2020</narrative> </title> <description type="1"> <narrative xml:lang="en">The Next Generation is a programme created specifically for and with young people (ages 15-30). The purpose of the Network Partnership Grant is to enable pioneering work and to secure longevity of excellent institutions in the working remit of the Fund. Network Partners receive support for a new initiative for 3 years and take part in 1-2 meetings a year with other partner organisations to exchange experiences and discuss issues that they find relevant. After three years of financial support, a Network Partner organisation remains part of this international, multi-disciplinary committee as an adviser, attending meetings and contributing to the ongoing cultural exchange. </narrative> </description> <indicator measure="1" ascending="1" aggregation-status="0"> <title> <narrative>Excellent new Network Partners are selected that address critical issues and become part of the Prince Claus Fund Network Partners Committee. </narrative> </title> <period> <period-start iso-date="2020-01-01"/> <period-end iso-date="2020-12-31"/> <target value="3"/> <actual value="3"/> </period> </indicator> </result> </iati-activity><iati-activity last-updated-datetime="2021-04-26T13:22:32+00:00" xml:lang="en" default-currency="EUR" humanitarian="0" hierarchy="1" linked-data-uri=""> <iati-identifier>NL-KVK-41159889-PP.2020</iati-identifier> <reporting-org type="21" ref="NL-KVK-41159889" secondary-reporter="0"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Prince Claus Fund</narrative> </reporting-org> <title> <narrative>Public Programme 2020</narrative> </title> <description type="1"> <narrative>Activities of Public Programme in 2020</narrative> </description> <participating-org ref="XM-DAC-7" type="10" role="1"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Netherlands - We invite cultural practitioners, institutions and local NGOs to present their ideas for Emergency Preparedness measures to protect tangible cultural heritage against acute danger and irreversible loss in case of disaster. &#13;&#13;This second round of our joint Call for Applications aimed to support the development and implementation of more preparatory measures for heritage buildings, collections, and sites to protect these in case a disaster occurs. We encouraged organisations to enhance their emergency preparedness by implementing lessons learned during previous incidents. Special attention was given to cross-sectoral collaborations strengthening networks, and the establishment of local structures for disaster preparedness and emergency response.The call also aimed to step up both our Foundations’ efforts in the field, raise awareness about its importance and illustrate how preventive concepts can safeguard heritage. Cultural practitioners, institutions and local NGOs were encouraged to submit their ideas and plans for the protection of tangible cultural heritage under threat. &#13;&#13;&#13;</narrative> </description> <participating-org ref="XM-DAC-7" type="10" role="1"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Netherlands - Ministry of Foreign Affairs</narrative> </participating-org> <participating-org ref="NL-KVK-41159889" type="21" role="4"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Prince Claus Fund</narrative> </participating-org> <participating-org ref="NL-KVK-41159889" type="21" role="2"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Prince Claus Fund</narrative> </participating-org> <activity-status code="4"/> <activity-date type="2" iso-date="2020-01-01"> <narrative>Fiscal year</narrative> </activity-date> <activity-date type="4" iso-date="2020-12-31"> <narrative>Fiscal year</narrative> </activity-date> <contact-info type="1"> <organisation> <narrative>For all enquiries please contact Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team</narrative> </organisation> <telephone>0203449160</telephone> <email>monitoring@princeclausfund.nl</email> </contact-info> <recipient-country code="CM" percentage="20.5"/> <recipient-country code="CL" percentage="20.1"/> <recipient-country code="IR" percentage="20.1"/> <recipient-country code="KE" percentage="20.7"/> <recipient-country code="MN" percentage="18.6"/> <recipient-region code="998" percentage="0" vocabulary="1"/> <sector code="16066" vocabulary="1"/> <default-flow-type code="10"/> <default-finance-type code="110"/> <default-aid-type code="B01" vocabulary="1"/> <default-tied-status code="5"/> <budget type="1" status="2"> <period-start iso-date="2020-01-01"/> <period-end iso-date="2020-12-31"/> <value value-date="2020-12-31">96461</value> </budget> <planned-disbursement> <period-start iso-date="2020-01-01"/> <period-end iso-date="2020-12-31"/> <value value-date="2020-12-31">96461</value> </planned-disbursement> <related-activity ref="NL-KVK-41159889-CER.2020" type="1"/> <conditions attached="1"> <condition type="2"> <narrative>Receipt of 2nd and 3rd tranches is dependent on the approval of reports.</narrative> </condition> </conditions> <result type="1"> <title> <narrative>Projects Approved</narrative> </title> <indicator measure="1"> <title> <narrative>Number of projects approved</narrative> </title> <period> <period-start iso-date="2020-01-01"/> <period-end iso-date="2020-12-31"/> <actual value="5"/> </period> </indicator> </result> </iati-activity><iati-activity last-updated-datetime="2021-04-26T13:22:45+00:00" xml:lang="en" default-currency="EUR" humanitarian="0" hierarchy="1" linked-data-uri=""> <iati-identifier>NL-KVK-41159889-NextGen.2020</iati-identifier> <reporting-org type="21" ref="NL-KVK-41159889" secondary-reporter="0"> <narrative xml:lang="en">Prince Claus Fund</narrative> </reporting-org> <title> <narrative>Next Generation 2020</narrative> </title> <description type="1"> <narrative>Through this programme, we formed partnerships with organisations that work with young people to build more inclusive, open-minded societies and provide safe spaces for young people to create their own narratives. &#13;&#13;Through individual project grants as well as longer-term grants for organisations through our NextGen partnerships, the Prince Claus Fund aimed at strengthening the creative and professional capacities of young people, not only through financial support but also through mutual support: recognition, exchanges and workshops. &#13;&#13;The Next Generation programme also included a Prince Claus Next Generation Award for a young person who was a role model, producing exemplary cultural work related to youth, gender, diversity and inclusion. &#13;&#13;Through the Next Generation programme, together with Hivos and the European Culture Foundation, we initiated academic research.
